Cookie policy

This website stores nothing on your device. Not a single cookie. This page says so plainly, explains why there is therefore no consent banner, and shows you how to confirm it for yourself. Effective 24 September 2026.

1. What we store on your device

Nothing. There is no category table on this page because there are no categories — not “strictly necessary”, not “functional”, not “analytics”, not “advertising”. The count in every category is zero.

Specifically, this site does not use:

• first-party or third-party cookies of any kind;
• localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB;
• analytics of any kind, including privacy-preserving or self-hosted analytics;
• advertising, conversion or remarketing pixels;
• tag managers;
• device or browser fingerprinting;
• web beacons or tracking images;
• service workers or cache storage;
• any third-party resource at all — no Google Fonts, no CDN, no remote images, no embedded video, no social buttons. Every font, stylesheet, script and image is served from this domain.

The site uses a system font stack, so the text is rendered with a typeface already present on your device and no font is downloaded from anywhere.

2. Why there is no consent banner

Consent for storing or accessing information on a user’s device is required by Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC as amended), as implemented in Czech law by Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on electronic communications. The obligation is triggered by the storing or the access.

We do neither. There is nothing to consent to, so asking you to consent would be theatre — an extra click that protects nothing and teaches people to dismiss consent dialogs without reading them. We would rather remove the tracking than ask permission for it.

This also means there is no “reject all” button to hunt for, no dark pattern in which rejecting takes three clicks and accepting takes one, and no consent record for us to keep about you.

3. How to verify this yourself

Do not take our word for it. Every browser ships the tools to check, and the whole process takes about a minute.

Check for cookies and local storage

1. Open this page in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
2. Press F12, or Ctrl+Shift+I (Cmd+Option+I on a Mac), to open developer tools.
3. In Chrome or Edge, open the Application tab. In Firefox, the Storage tab. In Safari, the Storage tab of the Web Inspector (enable the Develop menu first, in Settings → Advanced).
4. Look under Cookies, Local Storage, Session Storage and IndexedDB for sorentis.online.
5. Every one of them will be empty.

Check that nothing is loaded from a third party

1. Open the Network tab in developer tools.
2. Reload the page with the tab open.
3. Look at the Domain column — you may need to enable it by right-clicking the column headers.
4. Every request will be to sorentis.online. There will be no request to any other host.

Check the source

Press Ctrl+U to view the page source. This site loads exactly one stylesheet and one script, both from this domain. You can read the whole script at /js/site.js — it is short, commented, and does only two things: it smooth-scrolls links to sections of the same page, and it copies advertising campaign parameters from the address you arrived on into the partner link, while re-applying the rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" markers. It contains no storage call and makes no network request.

4. What happens after you click a partner link

This policy covers sorentis.online only. If you follow a partner link, you leave this site, and the destination will have its own cookie practice — an affiliate partner will normally set a cookie to attribute the referral, and will show you its own consent interface if its law requires one. That is outside our control and outside this policy. See section 4 of the privacy policy for exactly what is and is not passed on at that moment.

5. Managing cookies generally

There is nothing from this site to manage, but for the rest of the web every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its privacy settings. Blocking everything will not affect this site in any way, because it does not use any.

6. Changes

If this ever changes — if the site were to start using cookies for any purpose — this page would be rewritten to describe them before they were introduced, and a lawful consent mechanism would be implemented at the same time. The effective date at the top would change accordingly.
